Choosing a single-disc machine for commercial floor care
The working width, brush speed, pad choice and floor finish that should be checked before selecting a single-disc machine.

A single-disc machine uses a rotating brush or pad for a specified floor-care task. The choice depends on the floor, treatment and accessories—not motor power alone.
Define the treatment
Distinguish washing from stripping, polishing or other treatment. Check the floor-care instructions and approved machine applications. Trial the selected combination on a suitable small area first.
Match the accessories
Review disc speed, diameter and the recommended brush or pad. Pad colours are not a universal specification. Confirm intended use with the accessory manufacturer and ask which attachments are included.
Plan operation
Consider cable routing, storage and transport between floors. Arrange operator instruction in control and stopping. A single-disc machine does not necessarily collect dirty water; establish how used solution will be recovered.
